FOUNDATION OF A HOUSE
Korloff is an independent French jewelry house founded on entrepreneurial freedom. While this world didn't seem destined for it, its founder, Daniel Paillasseur, forged an exceptional destiny for Korloff in 1978.
Captivated by the fascinating brilliance of a mysterious 88-carat black diamond, Daniel Paillasseur took 10 years to fully own it and gave the name 'Korloff' to the Jewelry House he created in 1978. Representing the audacity of its founder, Maison Korloff was the first jewelry House to use black diamonds in its creations. A true soul of the House, the Black Korloff continues to be a unique and wonderful source of inspiration today.
AN INNOVATIVE HOUSE WITH AN ASSUMED STATE OF MIND
Choosing the black diamond is a testament to Korloff's commitment, since its creation, to reveal innovative, mysterious, and elusive personalities. Imbued with a strong and assertive character, our collections innovate in the choice of shapes, techniques, and materials used, revealing a unique style that cultivates creativity free from all constraints.
Our 88-carat black diamond is said to bring fortune and luck to those privileged enough to approach it. A signature of the Maison, all our jewelry creations feature a black diamond set in gold to instill the boldness that brings good luck to those who wear them.
Synonymous with luck, the number 8 has accompanied our house since its creation. A date: 1978, the date of our founding; a number: 88, the carat weight of our black diamond; an emblematic address: '18 rue de la Paix', the address of our Parisian flagship; and the K88, our iconic white diamond cut.
A NEW CHAPTER WITH THE ARRIVAL OF FRANCOIS ARPELS
The arrival of François Arpels, in October 2023, marks an important milestone in the history of the House.
A free spirit and bold entrepreneur himself, François Arpels' vision for Korloff is in direct line with that of its founder, offering innovative creations, exceptional quality and a unique brand experience.
